That Young Servant

In the south of that vast realm stood a small county town. Walk thirty-six li along the mountain road beyond its southern gate, and you'd come to a little town, small but complete in every way. There was a small brothel in town, where a handsome young attendant spent his days doing the menial chores others looked down on. He loved to sit beneath a crooked locust tree, letting his thoughts wander far away as he gazed at the little mountain road, wondering what lay beyond the hills and dreaming of the vast world called the jianghu.
