I, Chengcai, A-Team Sniper and Li Yunlong's Nephew

Cheng Cai, an elite sniper from Old A, sacrificed himself to save Xu Sanduo, then transmigrated to 1936 and became Li Yunlong's nephew in the Dabie Mountains.

Thanks to his memories, he knew the War of Resistance against Japan was about to erupt in full force, and he knew all about his uncle Li Yunlong's triumphs and tragedies.

Suppressing his inner turmoil, he spent a year restoring his physical fitness in the mountains and honing his sniping skills with primitive methods.

In 1937, the war broke out, and Cheng Cai headed north to find Li Yunlong. When he first joined the New First Regiment, he was merely an inconspicuous "connected recruit."

But during the Battle of Cangyun Ridge, when Li Yunlong's frontal assault on the Sakamoto Regiment was held up, Cheng Cai showed the value of an Old A sniper.

Taking advantage of the rugged terrain, he infiltrated enemy lines alone and accurately picked off Japanese artillery spotters and machine gunners from 800 meters away.

Then, at the very moment Li Yunlong charged, Cheng Cai shot and killed Sakamoto Nobutetsu, who was directing the battle.

Li Yunlong was stunned by his nephew's marksmanship, and Cheng Cai began to earn his trust.

Using modern sniping techniques, including camouflage, range estimation, and breath control, he trained the sharpshooters of the Independent Regiment, making the Japanese experience for the first time the terror of being singled out by a "ghost."
