The Infant Spirit

Mo Village was a forlorn place. By a twist of fate, the young and beautiful Wen Ya married into the village. Over the next few years, unable to bear children, she endured endless humiliation from her mother-in-law. At last, goaded by his mother, her devoted husband Liang Siyi had no choice but to leave home for a while and carry out her wish, just as his mother had instructed. Just how great was the price of that wish? By a stroke of fate, an abandoned baby appeared at the Liang household, bringing a glimmer of hope to Wen Ya's lonely life. But hidden behind that hope was an unstoppable disaster... Her husband's return brought another baby into the Liang household. After learning of his mother's “scheme,” Liang Sicheng, his younger brother, nearly stormed out of the house in anger. In the end, however, a faint sense of foreboding made him stay. Because he discovered... Some time later, disaster began to show its face. In despair, Wen Ya had no choice but to reopen old wounds and demand that her husband tell her where the baby came from. She never expected Liang Siyi to reveal a shocking secret... a secret that could drive Wen Ya to the brink of a mental breakdown... Do you believe that just two babies could change the fate of an entire village? The disaster continued. No one knew where the two babies had come from...
