Sunder the Clouds, Split the Heavens

Fifty years ago, an unprecedentedly gigantic asteroid struck Earth. This terrifying catastrophe instantly sent countless clouds of dust surging into the atmosphere, blotting out the sky.

Earthquakes, tsunamis, and volcanic eruptions followed in a chain of natural disasters. The atmosphere was filled not only with dust thrown up by the impact, but also volcanic ash and vast amounts of sulfuric acid released by the eruptions. In aerosol form, they silently seeped into the stratosphere, creating a gloomy, terrifying barrier that humanity came to call the "Ash Cloud."

Fifty years later, the "special cumulonimbus clouds" covering the globe show no sign of fading or disappearing.

Global temperatures have plummeted, and the extreme cold has severely undermined the integrity of human civilization.

At a human settlement called Kun Fortress, people have discovered the key technology to save humanity. Where will this desperate struggle for survival, one that will decide humanity's future, lead?
