The Path Beyond the Heavens

Chaos is boundless, without beginning or end. Some great powers say the Dao gave birth to One, One gave birth to Two, Two gave birth to Three, and Three gave birth to the world. Others say that in one flower lies one world, and that worlds are as numerous as grains of sand in the Ganges. Some can create the heavens with a thought and destroy the world with another. Is the world we inhabit truly the only one? Alas, even with all our technology, we cannot yet fully understand our own world. The existence of other worlds seems even more unknowable and absurd. Life is finite, while the myriad worlds are infinite. With a finite body, we seek an infinite reward. We journey through the heavens, seeking only transcendence. Those who came before us did so, and those who follow will do the same. We can only hold fast to our path and proceed with caution.
