The Woman in Hiding

A half-naked corpse appears in the busy city center. The killer leaves a taunting message for the police, then chooses to poison himself just before being caught.

A beautiful woman known as "the mistress," missing for days, comes back to life as a vengeful ghost in the rambling words of a mentally ill man moments before his suicide.

Every clue points to the same person. What secrets lie behind her seemingly innocent facade?

Following the lead of her instincts, Detective Captain He Xiao inches closer to the truth. She sees two women bound together by fate and uncovers their tragic past.

A difficult choice lies before her: should she uphold the law, or let compassion prevail?

This is a clash between justice and evil, and a struggle between human nature and fate.
