President Shi's Temporary Wife, His 24-Hour Personal Assistant

The Shiguang Group is hiring an executive assistant to the president. Requirements: be available at a moment's notice, 24 hours a day, and provide close, personal service. The president's wife, Qiao Zhiping, applies with a fake resume and gets the job.

Three years ago, the real heiress Qiao Zhiping, who had been switched at birth, was taken back by the Xu family and married off as their adopted daughter to the second young master of the Shi family, Shi Ye. They have been married for three years, but haven't seen each other in all that time. By day, she is his capable assistant at work. At night, in their marital home, they play the roles of a “fake couple,” keeping each other at arm's length. Just as he's become unable to resist her, she unhesitatingly submits her resignation and signs the divorce papers, then leaves with a flourish. Years later, she returns as a celebrated success. At her celebration banquet, he kneels with a bouquet of roses and says, “I'm sorry. There's a cooling-off period for divorce. I didn't confirm after it ended that you were the only wife I'd ever want.”

Both the male and female leads are chaste in body and heart. A devoted one-on-one romance.
