President Shi's Temporary Wife, His 24-Hour Personal Assistant

The Shiguang Group is hiring an executive assistant. Applicants must be available around the clock and provide close, personal service. The president’s wife, Qiao Zhiping, applies with a fake resume and gets the job. Three years ago, Qiao Zhiping, the real heiress who had been switched at birth, was welcomed back by the Xu family and married off to the second son of the Shi family, Shi Ye, as an adopted daughter. They’ve been married for three years, but haven’t seen each other once. By day, she is his indispensable assistant at the company. By night, in their marital home, they play “husband and wife,” keeping each other at arm’s length. Just when he can’t get enough of her, she calmly submits her resignation, signs the divorce papers, and walks away without looking back. Years later, she returns as a celebrity. At the celebration banquet, he kneels with a bouquet of roses and says, “I’m sorry. There’s a mandatory cooling-off period for divorce. I never confirmed it after the period ended, so you’re the only wife I’ll ever have.” Both the male and female leads are sexually inexperienced, and they’re devoted exclusively to each other.
