Gourd Farm

The big city had no room for Yang Feng, and after barely scraping by washing dishes in the Magic City, he had no choice but to return to his hometown. He never expected the gourd he found along the way to grow superb crops. Starting with a roadside stall selling strawberries, he climbed step by step to the pinnacle of success. The fruits and vegetables he grew were all top-grade produce, coveted by five-star restaurants. “I want 500 jin of tomatoes! All 500 jin!” “Get lost! Why don’t you just rob me?” “Who the hell stepped on my foot?” A crowd of people in Mercedes and BMWs surrounded Yang Feng’s vegetable garden, waving banknotes in the air. Yang Feng rode up on his tricycle. “What’s going on here? Line up and take turns. Today, everyone can buy no more than 30 jin of tomatoes.”
