Godhood in Infinite Space

Legend has it that the Jie School suffered a crushing defeat in the struggle among the Three Teachings, losing countless followers. Duobao Daoist, the foremost disciple of the Sage Tongtian, was forced to seek refuge in Buddhism. Before taking refuge, he crafted a batch of Rings of Fortune to preserve the Jie School’s spiritual legacy. They were also known as Lucky God Rings. Duobao Daoist secretly passed them down to many of his descendants living among mortals. Anyone descended from the Jie School who wore one of these rings could keep their true spirit intact through endless reincarnations. He hoped that one day, a descendant would awaken a heaven-defying power and restore the Jie School. However, when the other two teachings learned of the rings, they sent their disciples everywhere to collect them. Countless descendants of the Jie School were branded as demons and mercilessly hunted and persecuted by disciples of the other two teachings.
