The Magnate

One Daoist tome, four volumes of peerless arts. The secrets of the Infinite Dao are known only to the ambitious. Five hundred years ago, martial arts master Zhao Wuji collected secret manuals from across the land. After forty years of study, he separated the essence from the dross and wrote the Infinite Daoist Tome shortly before his death. People said that whoever possessed the tome would rule the world, and whoever mastered it could become immortal. This sparked endless bloodshed among countless martial arts masters, leaving rivers of blood in its wake. During the Chenghua era of the Ming dynasty, treacherous ministers held sway at court while bandits threatened the borders. In the martial world, good and evil stood opposed, black and white contended, and a great battle was about to erupt. With the land in turmoil, an ambitious hero emerged from nowhere.
