When a Goofy Villain Tries to Reform

After losing my memory, I opened the diary my past self had left behind. From its ledger-like writing and childish, rambling prose, I gleaned three important facts. My boss is a bad person. My coworkers are bad people too. I want to be a good person, but unfortunately, I’m not. I pored over it from every angle, but all I could make out from those dense, chicken-scratch scrawls were two words. We’re screwed. “Why is this world’s setup so much like that shonen manga I read before?!” “I need to calm down. Sure, I gave the protagonist PTSD by beating him up because I can’t remember the plot, so now he’s traumatized whenever he sees me and won’t be switching sides or turning good anytime soon. But think about it the other way: if I take out my damn boss, the final boss and great evil villain, doesn’t that make me a good person? [doge]” Protagonist: ...And you call that turning good??? A goofy, snarky story. The protagonist is a natural flirt, and every character who appears will become one of his little wings. [doge] Pick your ship (not really), a harem showdown (also not really). Anyway, I’m betting on the damn boss having a heart attack or a brain hemorrhage. [doge] Shonen manga worldbuilding, set in a fictional modern era. Newton is dead, and the supernatural rules. [The protagonist’s character design is in my posts. I’m all thumbs, so I cobbled it together myself. Please bear with me _(:)_] [No-couple, ambiguous-romance story. There are one-sided crushes, but the protagonist shoots every arrow down perfectly, destined to be forever alone. The first ten chapters are mostly jokes and references; the main plot kicks off after chapter fifteen.] [Important: The protagonist is a goofy, snarky flirt who hits on people of all genders. If that’s not your thing, read with caution.]
