Notes of Onmyoji

A man will not be rich without a windfall, a horse will not be fat without a night's grass, a person will be poor without a windfall, and a tired horse will be sick without a night's grass. The first twelve characters are causes, and the last fourteen characters are effects. On the day I was born, ten disasters descended from heaven and the whole town suffered. The reason is that my great-grandfather made a fortune that he should not have made.
