Twin Towers

One of the author's earlier books, I have read it many times. What initially attracted me was her beautiful and delicate writing. The story was told in a leisurely manner, leaving endless aftertaste. The strong ancient style and heart-stirring details make the characters in the book impressive, especially the chapter about robbery is a masterpiece. Hu Chen is the Prince Charming in the hearts of thousands of girls: brave and handsome, he has no sweet words but always considers his lover in his actions, and is affectionate and single-minded. Hu is the brother that every girl wants, who is capable and doting on her sister. Therefore, the heroine is extremely lucky: she has a good background, a family who loves her, and a husband who is willing to be with her for the rest of her life at that time. I didn't think highly of Heng when I first read it, but after reading it carefully, I found it very interesting. Heng has always had his own perseverance and bottom line. In that era when women could be treated as objects, it was not easy to keep his original intention. The character design is originally a little woman rather than a big heroine. If I were in it, I wouldn't do better. A peerless beauty is both talented and quick-witted. She dares to love and hate. What's wrong with having more favors? I also appreciate the changes. In everything, the country comes first, but love is restrained. He didn't make empty promises about the love Heng wanted, he was an open and honest gentleman. What makes me sad the most is the love between my parents. Heng's mother, Mo, met him at the age of 30 when she was the most beautiful. They saw him for thousands of years and made a love marriage for life. It is a pity that there are many women who will resent each other all their lives and end with regrets. But the most regrettable thing is not that Heng's father didn't love her mother, but that he loved her very much, but because of his status and situation, he couldn't give her what she wanted, and eventually left with her. I'm glad that Heng chose peace instead of change, and didn't make the same mistake as his mother, and finally got the happiness he wanted.

❤️ This is an ancient Chinese novel by my favorite author "Haiqingna Swan"🦢. The background is the Western Zhou Dynasty. As a digression: the Western Zhou Dynasty started from the time when King Wu of Zhou destroyed the Yin Shang Dynasty and established the country and made Haojing the capital, and ended with the fall of King You of Zhou. It was one of the heydays of Chinese civilization. The material civilization and spiritual civilization of this period have profoundly affected later generations! The first thing I want to say is that I admire the author's coverage of literary and historical knowledge and his brilliant writing skills! To be honest, there are only a few authors I admire among online works, and Swan 🦢 is one of them! Her works can be called beautiful essays, rigorous yet relaxed and joyful, elegant and tender in style, deep and restrained in emotional descriptions yet full of tension, the kind of throbbing that slowly tugs at your heartstrings... Although the heroine Heng is set from a modern patient with congenital heart disease to a noblewoman in the ancient Western Zhou Dynasty, she does not have those flashy golden fingers and jaw-dropping transformations and vests. She lives a peaceful and comfortable life as the legitimate daughter of a nobleman. When I met the young prince Xie for the first time, I fell in love at first sight, and the two of them had a rare mutual love. Although they belong to two vassal states, letters are sent thousands of miles away, and affection is spread wantonly. However, due to different concepts and different views, the heroine is not blindly interested in love. She does not want to share Xie's emotions and body with many women. As for Xie, as a dominating prince, it is impossible for him to have only one female protagonist in the harem. Political trade-offs and interest groups are his biggest choices. The heroine separated from him sadly and decisively. That was her first love, how could she let it go so easily... However, after all the pain and suffering, she finally missed it, but she never regretted it! What is gratifying is that the heroine has always adhered to her original intention, and has also gained the company of her husband, and she has been loved and protected throughout her life. The princes Xie deserve the word hero. He is deep and reserved, and has great strategies. What is annoying is that he is also handsome. Who does not admire such a king, and what woman can be blind? ! The heroine and him are truly a match made by heaven. Phoenix-shaped Pei and Dragon-shaped Pei are a perfect couple, but unexpectedly it turns out to be an empty dream. Xie is more inclined to the political battlefield and interests. He cannot give the heroine the love of a pair of people for the rest of her life. In fact, with his identity and strategy, there is no need to form political marriages and interest groups, but if he miscalculates once, he will regret it for the rest of his life! Yes, he regretted it! But I realized it was too late... Ji Yu, a descendant of the royal family, was granted the title of Marquis at a young age. He is handsome, tall and beautiful, and has a secret love for the heroine. He and Xie have two completely different personalities and characters. Ji Yu is as high-spirited as Chaoyang, with superb martial arts and outstanding abilities. He is the prince charming in the hearts of many noble ladies at that time. Such an outstanding person with a noble family background, but in his eyes and heart, he could only see and tolerate one person. Especially in the chapter about cumming in the school grounds, the scene where Ji Yu decisively snatches away the heroine's concubine is simply the finishing touch! Other readers read this and were so excited and domineering that they cheered and applauded Ji Yu's resourcefulness and decisiveness! There are so many people who want to comment, and there are many people who want to express their love! Then let the book friends discover and experience it for themselves! In short, if you fall into the trap of "Double Que", you will not regret it! ! ❤️Compare your heart🫶🫰

At every age and stage of life, the scenery is different. Heng and Xie fell in love, but in the end they could not be together for a long time because of their different views. Compared to Heng, Xie had more important things in his heart. Instead of eventually getting lost in life and living a life of seemingly inseparable love like his mother, it would be better for the beauty to end abruptly. Both of them understood that Heng had given up rationally, but Xie couldn't calm down. Qi Jiang's little love is now in a hurry. It was Heng's good fortune to meet Ji Yu. He was firm and courageous, gentle and sincere, and he finally embraced the beauty. Heng is a beauty, a smart and rational little woman who strives to survive in the patriarchal power of the imperial family. She does not let her beauty become a drag. She carefully hides her wisdom and strives to pursue the life she wants. She does not interfere too much and does not show off. Even though she has given up, she is always rational and runs a warm and comfortable home. Everyone is a fool when they are young, and they can squander their youthful publicity. Only after many hardships in life can they understand the true meaning. It is a pity that there is no chance to do it again, so she hopes that her daughter will understand the meaning of life and be happy. I think she didn't forgive her father before she died, and she didn't want to mention the joys and sorrows of this life again. A faint look passed by, meaning no joy, no sadness, no hope. You and I will never see each other again in the vast sea of people, and we will be well. My father also understood this, so in his dream, Mo didn't say anything to him, so he lost the person who loved him and the person he loved. The writing is smooth throughout, the language is concise, the writing is sophisticated, the characters are clearly drawn, the personality is distinct, and it is very deep.

The author has great literary talent. After reading so many novels about Qimao, the author's literary skills are second to none. The story is very interesting. The heroine is smart and has a bottom line. She knows what she wants, will actively fight for it, and will stop the loss in time. If she chooses the Marquis of Jin, she will have the same fate as her mother. No matter how much they fall in love with each other at first, there will only be so many warblers around that person. Although the Marquis of Jin loved the heroine, he recognized polygamy; Ji Yu's love was magnanimous and pure, and their love was very sweet and happy.

What I want to say is all said in the previous excellent comments. I can only say one word (good). Come and read it, I guarantee you will learn a lot of ancient knowledge and a lot of unknown words 😂 Reading this book makes me feel like I am illiterate🙃

The heroine's character is very similar to that of White Lotus, and she has a high self-esteem. I haven't finished watching it, so I don't know how it will develop in the future. As far as I've watched so far, the heroine is nothing special. I would say that she is just good-looking, and has no merits in her behavior and dealing with others. She always feels that she is noble and moral. Compared with Fu Qian, she is really not only a star and a half short.

This is my favorite book I have read so far. Not only did I learn a lot of knowledge, but it is also not long and I read it in one day. This is the first book by this author that I read, and it is also the one that I remember the most.

The writing was so good that I couldn't sleep at night while watching it. The sense of immersion was so strong that I felt happy and sad several times along with the plot. But from the perspective of the Marquis of Jin, I am afraid I will regret it for the rest of my life. There is no way to have the best of both worlds... There are gains and there are losses...

It's a bit of an ancient literary flourish. How to say that. I've read almost 60 chapters. It's very bland and has no ups and downs scenes. Just a person with current memories who has passed through the fetal period returned to the Zhou Dynasty. Very light. Live in kilometers. After the first lover broke up, the second lover he met became a couple for life. He also didn't show much of his current human value. It's better not to write that she is a modern person from the past! A very common scene! Personally, I like the ups and downs of the plot! Abandoned

Thanks to the author for allowing us mortals to take a trip back to the Jin and Chu eras, which I yearn for!
