Dreaming of Spring Blossoms

Ruoying is getting married.

But she has no interest in her groom. All she can think about is the person in her dreams.

She secretly draws that person's likeness. It looks like him, but it doesn't.

Then, on her wedding day, she passes an ancient temple.

The crabapple trees are in full bloom in spring, yet cicadas sing in the trees as if it were summer.

A figure stands beneath the trees, just like in her dream.

She remembers.

It's Lu Li.

Lu Li is skilled in cocoon arts and can weave dreams.

He once said that when the cicadas sing without end, it means you've entered a heart cocoon.

He also said that people don't become lost in dreams because the dreams are too good, but because reality is too cruel.

Now Lu Li's voice seems to come from beyond a thousand mountains: "Ruoying, don't wake up."
