Back to 1978: After Cutting Ties with My Family, I Hunt Wild Boars to Feed Them

In his previous life, special forces instructor Yang Ling opens his eyes to find himself a frail young man in the mountains of the Greater Khingan Range in the 1970s.

The kang is cold, the quilt is threadbare, and his little sister is so hungry that she's skin and bones.

His stepmother has stolen their life-saving rations, and now she wants to report him for stealing collective property!

Does his vicious stepmother wish he would just die already? Does his useless father simply stand by, coldly watching?

It seems everyone is waiting to see how this "unregistered outsider," expelled from the forestry station, will freeze to death in these old woods with a little girl in tow.

But Yang Ling plunges headfirst into the vast snowy wilderness of the Greater Khingan Range.

While others rely on luck to hunt, he has the tracking skills and marksmanship of an elite reconnaissance soldier!

Setting traps, hunting black bears, raiding wolf dens... To him, the deep forests are a bountiful hunting ground scattered with gold!

In the 1970s, when food and clothing are scarce, Yang Ling manages to hunt, eat meat, and earn a living with his little sister, building a happy life everyone envies!
