Back to 1978: After Cutting Ties with My Family, I Hunt Wild Boars to Feed Them

Yang Ling, a special forces instructor in his previous life, opened his eyes to find himself a frail young man in the mountains of the Greater Khingan Range in the 1970s.

The kang was cold, the quilt was torn, and his little sister was so hungry she was skin and bones.

His wicked stepmother had stolen the rations that would have saved his life, then turned around and threatened to report him for stealing from the collective!

His wicked stepmother couldn't wait for him to die, while his useless father coldly stood by and did nothing.

Everyone seemed to be waiting to see how this "unregistered" young man, expelled from the forestry camp, would freeze to death in these woods with a little girl in tow.

But Yang Ling plunged headlong into the vast snowy wilderness of the Greater Khingan Range...

Others relied on luck to hunt. He relied on the skills and marksmanship of an elite reconnaissance soldier!

Setting traps, hunting black bears, raiding wolf dens... In his eyes, the deep forests were abundant hunting grounds filled with gold!

In the 1970s, when food and clothing were scarce, Yang Ling managed to hunt and eat meat with his sister, earn money to support the family, and build a happy life everyone envied!
