No Escape from Sin: Midnight Voices from the Dead

[Mystery] [Dark] [Realistic] [Mind-Bending] [Constant Twists] [Bickering Couple]

In a northern city battered by autumn rain, a bizarre dismemberment case quietly unfolds.

A victim who has been dead for more than twelve hours has only a severed arm left in an abandoned warehouse, yet somehow it calls 110 to report a crime.

When a mutilated limb bearing a T-shaped scar is discovered, a drowning case from three years ago, ruled a suicide, resurfaces.

At midnight, the evidence phone from that case rings again.

A mysterious caller tells the police that the rest of the body is submerged beneath South River Bridge.

The sealed case is forcibly reopened. Every clue that was covered up and every flaw that was overlooked back then is brought to light, one by one.

Wu Li, a newly recruited policewoman with martial arts skills; Wu Ming, a composed and disciplined veteran detective; and Tao Zui, a shrewd bar investigator who knows the ins and outs of the streets.

Three very different people are bound together by an unsolved case. They test each other and pull against one another, gradually peeling away the case's disguise as they learn to work together.

There is no such thing as a perfect crime. Every evil deliberately hidden will eventually be exposed, and no one can escape justice.
