The Greatest Hunter in the Mountains, the Greatest Martial Saint in the World!

Demons run rampant, martial warriors rule, and evildoers wreak havoc on the people.

In the mountains and rivers lurk demons that feed on human flesh and blood.

Within and beyond the cities are powerful nobles who devour people without even spitting out their bones.

Shen Guhong is just a scholar who wants to survive in this world.

But though a man may have no intention of harming a tiger, the tiger may still mean him harm. Demons are always trying to kill him!

Shen Guhong sighs, draws his bow and nocks an arrow, then takes up his saber to suppress the demons.

From then on, the thirteen provinces of Dayu gain a god of slaughter.

The Demon King prostrates himself. "Lord Shen, please stop killing! He's my only son!"

The Demon Emperor kneels. "Lord Shen, go ahead and kill them all. Just don't kill me once they're gone."

The Sect Master of the Divine Sword Sect says, "Lord Shen, it's all a misunderstanding. We are all citizens of Dayu."

The ruler of Fusang cries out to the heavens, "Lord Shen! Whatever wrongs were done, they were all my fault alone! Why slaughter all my people?"

When the Commandant of the Demon-Slaying Bureau emerges from seclusion after completing his cultivation, ready to purge the world of demons...

"What? Where are the demons? The immortal sects? Gone? What do you mean, they're all gone?"

"Sir, you can retire now. Lord Shen has taken care of everything."

The Heavenly Gate opens, the earth dragon stirs, and the wards surrounding Dayu's thirteen provinces begin to falter.

The gods and Buddhas sit high in the heavens, regarding all living beings as ants.

They intend to suppress the thirteen provinces of Dayu for all eternity.

In that case, Shen Guhong looks at his own long lifespan and lets out a deep sigh.

"I'll burn my life! I'll burn my life! Even an ant can turn the heavens upside down!"

"Today, with this worthless life of mine, I shall slay every god and Buddha in the heavens!"
