We Agreed to Make a Match-Three Game, So What's with This Havoc in Heaven?

Inside a game livestream in Great Xia.

“All right, guys, let's see what myth-and-fantasy games are out there lately.”

“Hm? This looks interesting. It starts with an animated cutscene, and the protagonist jumps out of a rock? The game's called 'Defense of the Heavenly Court'?”

“A monkey? Haha, looks like we'll be playing a monkey defending some so-called Heavenly Court this time.”

“What?!! We're not the monkey? We're actually a heavenly soldier, and the monkey is the final boss?”

“Are you kidding me? Can the organizers even make a game? A hundred thousand heavenly soldiers and generals against one monkey? Anyone could win that!”

“Wait... guys, something's not right. There's something strange about this monkey. Let me take a closer look...”

The streamer gapes at the monkey as it charges through the ranks of immortals, sweeping everything aside. He is so dumbstruck he can barely move, then starts scratching his head like a real monkey...

P.S. This is a parallel world with no mythological history, a unified world, and no wars. That's all.
