The Outcast: Life and Nature Made Whole

A word or two can reveal the mystery. Why pore over countless alchemical texts? If a person is not burdened by the flesh, the Great Luo Heaven is already before them.

Beginning in northwestern China in 1995, this book tells the story of a gifted transmigrator who refuses to be constrained by empty formalities and cultivates both body and mind.

After weathering countless trials, he sees through every facet of human nature. Some become slaves to money and power without realizing it; some are born to pursue absolute self-interest and do as they please; some struggle toward the highest realm, enduring countless battles; some are naturally compassionate and long to pass the torch to others; some have suffered so much that all they want is a peaceful, happy life; and some never give up, just to touch the cruel truth... Many more are crushed by the aftershocks of a bygone era. Though capable in every way, they are ultimately trapped in endless emptiness. They live, and they die. Together, they paint a picture of the turmoil and shifting fortunes of the world of the extraordinary over several decades.
