Detective Song

A forensic pathologist transmigrates to the Song Dynasty and stumbles upon a murder case. Because he looks just like the victim, Liu Chuan, he impersonates him. As it turns out, Liu Chuan is the only son of the richest man in the land. After squandering his family fortune, he fell into poverty and became a tutor, and he is also engaged to Qiu Yue, the prefect's daughter, in a marriage where he would join her family. But Qiu Yue has no interest in the spendthrift Young Master Liu, and her father, the prefect, is both snobbish and eager to break off the engagement. A string of gruesome murders strikes Yingtian Prefecture, plunging the city into chaos. Liu Chuan displays extraordinary crime-solving skills and becomes the junior apprentice of Zhuo Ran, a prince famed as a master detective. Unable to solve a case she is investigating for her father, Qiu Yue is forced to turn to Liu Chuan for help. The two love and fight in equal measure as they join forces to solve cases. But until the very last moment, the truth remains as elusive as a dream.
