Starting My Counterattack in Longcheng: I Will Extend the Han Dynasty's Life by Three Hundred Years

Special Forces commander Zhang Yang leads his team through time to wipe out terrorists, but a temporal storm strands him alone in the Western Han dynasty. At the same time, nine Kunlun divine envoys descend from the heavens at the Xiongnu capital of Longcheng, offering a plan that lets them seize three Han commanderies in quick succession and send their iron cavalry straight toward Chang'an. Calls for peace fill the court, and Emperor Jing considers marrying off a princess. Zhang Yang slams his hand on the table in fury. “Make peace through marriage? Our Chinese men aren’t all dead yet!” Taking the name “Divine Envoy of the Red Emperor,” he gathers his scattered teammates. With modern tactics, they set fire to the Xiongnu encampment; with economic measures, they bring the powerful clans in the fiefdoms to heel; and with military technology, they help Emperor Wu train his troops and forge their swords. When the Xiongnu chanyu arrives at the gates with the divine envoys’ machine-gun blueprints, he finds Zhang Yang on the city wall, coolly setting up a cannon. “My lord, times have changed. Those who threaten our mighty Han will be slain, no matter how far away they are!”
