At First, I Only Wanted to Break Off the Engagement

Li Xuanxuan transmigrated into an old-school male-oriented xianxia novel as the heroine's fiancé, promised to her since childhood.

In the novel, the hero was once Heaven's favored genius, but after his cultivation was crippled, he fell to rock bottom. After overcoming one trial after another, he eventually became the number one cultivator in the world of cultivation.

Unfortunately, this was an old-school novel! A broken-engagement story! A power fantasy!

Li Xuanxuan, the fiancé: "..."

For the sake of her freedom, Li Xuanxuan bravely set out to trigger the broken-engagement plot!

But after ending the engagement, Li Xuanxuan realized that something seemed a little off about the male lead.

Born to an ordinary family and accepted into a prestigious orthodox sect, Xie Shixun was strikingly handsome, immensely talented, gentle and reserved, humble and courteous, like an immortal prince.

His life seemed perfect, except for one flaw: he had a frail fiancée who couldn't cultivate.

And when Xie Shixun hit the lowest point in his life, his fiancée actually demanded that he be the one to break off their engagement!

When they met again, Xie Shixun realized that something seemed a little off about his fiancée.
