When I first started reading this book, I thought more than once of San Zha's crimes and the coming of Zhou. The reason can only be said to be that he is obviously a big boss but he has to pretend to be a newbie and use new methods to achieve his own goals. The sense of deja vu is too strong. The same is true for Ten Thousand Realms Lunatic Asylum. Mysterious flow, the Western fantasy style of this book is closer to my preference, the emotional line is slower, and it focuses more on friendship. However, the exploration process of the game world in the novel is almost always described in the form of narration. It is more like playing a word game than reading a novel.

In the author's detailed description, those twisted monsters and crazy behaviors are written as if they are right in front of you. Reading it makes people feel a real, disgusting and terrifying, but stimulating and exciting experience from the bottom of their hearts. The sense of terror it provides is compound: the front note is disgusting, such as the joyful Roshan Buddha whose flesh is tangled together; the middle note is stimulation, such as the self-mutilation ritual with blood spewing; the back note is weird, such as the red-eyed monster that confuses people's minds. The new settings that appeared in each story made people sigh with the author's imagination. I thought Roshan Maggot Sea was enough, but I didn't expect that another one could be made for me. After Roshan lost weight, his skin hung loosely on his body like a Roman robe. This new pattern was really eye-opening and made people laugh. In addition to heavy grams, the author also combined some folk culture settings, such as Nuo opera, Ming opera, Chuma Xian, etc. The imported Cthulhu-style weirdness is combined with Chinese elements and traditional horror novels to weave the settings of his works - enough to call it Cthulhu-style horror with Chinese characteristics (sure). There is actually no shortage of people doing horror and fantasy, and this book is a very good one. Another interesting point is the protagonist's "psychosis". In fact, I have never been too fond of psychotic protagonists, because most of the protagonists who set the protagonist to be neurotic cannot be called a disease, but are just too "mental", just a slightly exaggerated mental guy in the second episode. But the protagonist of this book, Li Huowang, really suffers from mental illness such as schizophrenia and delusion, and he is a real patient. The protagonist's setting is a "mind element" that cannot distinguish between reality and illusion. The common setting of a time traveler is developed in this book into a torturous confusion of being unable to distinguish between the two worlds, which is reality and which is illusion. The whole volume sticks to this core setting, describing the pain and pursuit of the protagonist, and finally converges into a roar of "I really can't tell the difference", which is very touching. Being able to write about mental illness so well and so relatably, it is hard not to suspect that the author is actually the patient - so it is not surprising that there are often comments in the comment section urging the author to take medicine on time.

Through the Gate of Destiny, which is "an elliptical structure with a golden edge of light, like the night sky of stars, and like a starry sky gate with multiple dimensions blending inside", you can go to different worlds and experience various events; it can integrate the experience and knowledge of thousands of worlds into one, so although individuals will have different strengths and weaknesses like other systems, at the same level they are usually stronger than those who upgrade with other systems. The biggest feature of this system is: under the management and intervention of the destiny space, the experience, knowledge, insights and current upgrade progress and upgraded abilities gained by the individual in the destiny, etc.
