I Just Don't Read Beginner-Level Novels!
I keep a record of books I enjoy. No mindless power fantasies, no harem stories, and the protagonists all have normal intelligence. There are books aimed at both women and men. Lighthearted Novels
Maybe I’m getting older. I’m not into fighting and killing anymore, and prefer something light and relaxing, so I read a lot of urban entertainment stories. I’m also tired of elaborate schemes and plots. They’re exhausting. Most of these books have one heroine or none at all. I’m out of things to read. The values are sound, the writing is strong, and the dark chapters of history are handled in a satisfying, cathartic way, without sanctimonious do-gooders or foolishly trusting idealists.
