This list includes books that make me feel sick, books that are readable but occasionally uncomfortable, and books I think are a real shame, such as those whose quality drops drastically or that were great until the author abandoned them.

B. Amateurish writing, with frequent and rather vulgar tropes that are poorly executed. (These rarely appear, since I generally won't read books with amateurish writing.)
A. Amateurish or decent writing, but very uncomfortable. Each book gets its own explanation.
S1. Whatever the writing quality, the story is extremely uncomfortable, with a worldview, outlook on life, or values that are seriously out of whack. (This is based on my own judgment, so use your discretion.)
S2. Whatever the writing quality, the novel itself is poor, and the author's values and behavior are extremely off-putting!
