This list focuses on good books with coherent plots, their own worldviews, and real depth. Whether they're by famous authors or newcomers, anything that fits will be added. A lot of friends have recommended books, and I'm still testing many of them. Work keeps me busy, so I don't have much time to read, but I'll make sure to follow up on everyone's recommendations. My top pick is The Secrets of the World There are only so many endings, but beginnings are always full of promise. Stories may all follow the same patterns, but authors often put a lot of thought into crafting their openings. After that, many fall into the same old routines. A monkey's greatest skill is holding tight to the vine in its hand until it can reach the next one. We're the same.
