A Young Lady’s Reading List
Books that keep readers turning the pages. I grew up reading books from my grandfather's study, like The Hu Family Generals, The Yang Family Generals, Tai Chi Master, Investiture of the Gods, Strange Tales from a Chinese Studio, and Romance of the Three Kingdoms. Historical fiction, wuxia, and myths and legends are my favorites. In middle school, when the girls in my class were reading Qiong Yao and Xi Juan, I was reading Jin Yong.
