Books That Are a Pleasure to Read
(Not that anyone reads this description anyway.) This list is for books I like. My tastes are pretty broad, so I won't bother sorting them into categories. I like books with fresh ideas. I like beautiful prose. I like stories that are a joy to read. Most of all, I love books that leave you savoring them long after you finish. Those are the ones you absolutely shouldn't miss. No Idiotic Protagonists, No Chuunibyou
I have pretty picky tastes and don't like brainless power fantasies in the style of Long Aotian. I look for rationality, humor, and careful writing. Here are a few recommendations. I won't include anything too old; times have changed, and older books may not suit everyone's tastes. P.S. I've read so many books that I've forgotten a lot of them. The Ones That Keep Me Reading Until My Sleep Schedule Falls Apart
I started reading novels in 2005. I began with simple, beginner-friendly stories, then moved on to books with clear logic and polished writing. These days, as long as the characters are smart and the writing is good, I can overlook a few plot holes. The main thing is that I enjoy reading it. (P.S. I especially love stories where the protagonist shows off in front of a crowd.)
