Every Book Is a Gem: Single-Lead and No-Harem Stories
Every book on this list is one I can reread, whether for the protagonist or for the plot. I like nuanced stories with a broad perspective. I like intelligent protagonists who are not idiots. I have been reading on Qidian for a while and wanted to share some of the books I like with everyone, while keeping a list of the works that interest me. My tastes are fairly diverse. It is rare for such fine writing to appear on the page.
Humanity's Grand Ambitions, Soft Murmurs, and Quiet Reflections (Haha)
I won't list books near the top of the rankings or famous titles. Everyone has probably already given those a try. What makes people shine, what makes humanity shine, is probably intelligence and emotion. The feelings we cherish as children and the ambitions we hold as adults are all deeply moving. I'll probably choose books with heartfelt emotions, lofty ideals, and grounded characters. I can't be a saint, but I can't help wanting to imitate them, lol.
