Legend of the Demon Mech

It was really my favorite mecha novel in high school, and it even influenced my aesthetic appreciation of mecha color matching for the next ten years or so. I especially like the design of the main character's late-stage palm-mounted shotgun, which is very exciting.

The battle scenes and descriptions are very nice, but the characters are a bit off. . Ahem, after all, the book was written a long time ago 😁

The Legend of the Magic Machine has an unappealing name and is a seriously underrated novel. The description of fighting is infinitely more exquisite than other protagonist novels. I finished reading the pirated books I borrowed from the bookstore in junior high school, and perfected my fantasy about mechas. Many of the mecha battleships are very science fiction terms, and the plot is also a grand development. In addition, if you want to compare it, the early stage is like Pacific Rim, or you drive with a manual transmission. It describes the feeling of trying out a muscle car, similar to the cumbersome feeling of operating a mecha, the collision between mechanical axes, and the loading of bullets. There is no upgrading to fight monsters, and no scrolling skills. It is a man's romantic space travel. I have never seen such a meaty mecha novel.

The author must be suffering from chest tightness and shortness of breath, so he often speaks half-sentence and takes a breath before speaking the second half.
