Novels with Great Supporting Characters [Mainly No Romance or One Female Lead]
Books worth rereading at least once! I'm a peculiar reader: most people focus on the protagonist, but I like the supporting cast. A good novel creates an entire world. In that world, the protagonist isn't the only one who's brilliant, dashing, or surrounded by admirers. Everyone has their own personality, their own joys and sorrows, and their own constraints. A novel where only the protagonist shines is just the author's wish fulfillment. When the supporting cast shines too, that's a real world!
