The previous version of "Ming Yue Zhongtian" (Changjiang Literature and Art Society version) was written from 1983 to 2013, which lasted for half an ordinary person's life. This is not a random book. It can be said that every word is worthy of careful consideration. Every detail and story progression or statement are closely linked with strict logic. This version of "Ming Yue Zhongtian" (Starting Point Edition) is currently being tried. It is by no means a simple upload of the content of the Yangtze River version, but a re-creation that integrates previous content with a new perspective and is more suitable for the largest consumer group. For example, some of the content involved in the book is by no means a random fabrication. It is based on the records of the "Historical Records" and describes Wang Li's capture in the battle. However, when studying genealogies from various places, many records indicate that Wang Li did not participate in this war. If Wang Li was captured and should have been killed by Xiang Yu, it would be difficult for the current surnames of Taiyuan Wang and Langxie Wang to exist. Moreover, the way "Historical Records" writes about "burning cauldrons and sinking boats" is too exaggerated. It is writing history using literary techniques, which is not advisable. It is completely inconsistent with the language recorded by Confucius in a plain, pertinent and objective manner. Therefore, Confucius is by no means a wasted name. It is determined by his character in dealing with the world. As for why Sima Qian was castrated, there were three options at that time: die, buy his life with money, or suffer castration, which was "actually a castration punishment." Sima Qian chose to be castrated, which was a great shame and I will not comment here. But it was indeed not easy for Sima Qian to write "Historical Records" in the face of humiliation. After writing it, he submitted a copy to Liu Che, Emperor Wu of the Han Dynasty, hoping to get the approval of the Holy Grace, but it backfired and Liu Che threw it aside. Liu Che only read how Sima Qian wrote about him and his father, Emperor Jing. In fact, Sima Qian's writing about Liu Bang after the founding of Han Dynasty was all flattering. Modern people say that Sima Qian is more righteous because he wrote that Liu Che believed in ghosts and gods. In fact, this is a complete lack of understanding of the integration of history and facts. In that era, it was normal to believe in ghosts and gods, and no one made irresponsible remarks. Basically everyone believes it, just like many people today believe in the atheistic social atmosphere, so it is nonsense to say that Sima Qian is righteous. Sima Qian was extra thoughtful when he presented the book to the Yellow Emperor. He copied another one and left it to his daughter, and later probably his grandson. Many years after his death, this book was passed down. This aroused the curiosity of the princes surnamed Liu, and wrote to Huangdi asking whether Sima Qian had dedicated a book to Liu Che. As a result, the book was actually kept in a dark corner of the palace and slowly spread. The main reason is that Sima Qian's experience is sympathetic. Everyone in the world has sympathy for the weak and good nature. In addition, many years have passed, and many things written by Sima Qian cannot be verified. Many scholars in later generations are actually people with high scores and low ability to memorize by rote. Of course, it is difficult to verify in the era of backward information. With the advent of the knowledge age in the Internet age, some ancient genealogies spread across the country, and some oral histories have been combined, and many truths can actually be revealed! "Ming Yue Zhongtian" involves many aspects of restoring the truth with a completely rational and speculative attitude. Many records have been carefully screened, and related literary creations are extended in an attitude that is as logical as possible and consistent with the laws of life and thinking. If there are too many random fabrications, it will affect the vitality of the book. To put it harshly, as time goes by, wrong things will poison future generations. Why did I mention Sima Qian in detail earlier? Because in the Eastern Han Dynasty, there was a scholar who was more literary and talented than him. He died unexpectedly just because he said that he should write history like Sima Qian! Why was this great Confucian scholar, who was much more knowledgeable than Sima Qian, executed for these words? . . . Please pay attention to "Mingyue Zhongtian" 🌹
