Alien in the City

Su Muran, nicknamed “Wooden Head,” is a simple young man who has never believed in supernatural forces, parallel universes, or any other paranormal phenomena. But one day, he discovers that there are two versions of himself sharing the same body: one so weak it's depressing, the other so strong he's practically unstoppable.

And so, he is left completely bewildered.

“Son, don't be confused. Believe in science. Every phenomenon in the universe can be explained by science.”

“I didn't study much, so don't try to fool me. From dead last to top scorer on the college entrance exam, from good at nothing to capable of anything, from penniless to holding power over the world. Tell me, what kind of science can explain that?”

“Science, of course. It's just beyond the scope of Earth's civilization. Even if I explained, you wouldn't understand.”

The innocent Wooden Head was led astray: struggling is pointless, so he might as well lie back and enjoy it. It's not that I'm deliberately pretending to be weak so I can surprise everyone. I'm just naturally low-key, but you insist on provoking me.

Ah, poor Earthlings…
