Last month, I started reading "Xuanmen Xuanmen" through the recommendation on the homepage of Xianxia. Now I have read Chapter 446, which is about half of it. Although I subscribed to the VIP chapter and voted for 3 recommendations every day, I felt very sad when I saw that the book review area was deserted and wanted to write some thoughts. I firmly think this is a book worth reading. The author, Hongchenda Da, has nothing to say about his writing skills, it's really too good. Why do you say this? As an old bookworm, I have read a lot of classics in the past. I have read Xianxia at Qidian for at least two digits for several years, and I think I still have a good taste. The writing level of "Xuanmen Xuanmen" is first-class. This is my evaluation without any water. I guess it may be because the writing level is too high, which makes the majority of novice readers uncomfortable and unable to understand the wonders of mountains and flowing water. Therefore, the response is not good enough and subscriptions are relatively bleak. I really feel sad. As a technical novel, the setting is unconventional and full of creativity. Its characteristics are that the logic is very high, the technical analysis is too detailed, the ins and outs are explained too clearly, and the thinking is too calm and organized. This has resulted in the disadvantage of being more rational and less passionate, and the reader's sense of involvement may be somewhat compromised. The author does not follow the usual routine of killing monsters, upgrading, killing and seizing treasures. The plot is smooth and delicate, the rhythm of the writing is impeccable, there is no lack of excitement and novelty, and the imagination is very high. I don't know how to express it, but I admire you. When I read the works of other so-called "great gods", I really feel the urge to write, and I think I can write better. However, after reading this book by Hongchenda, I can't help but sigh, "How can I be brilliant when I am already good?" Let's talk about the characters in the book. The protagonist Lin Shu is very successful. I like this character very much. Lao Wang, Li Jinglong, Lin Zhen, Kong Zhexu, etc. Are all very lively and interesting. However, there are too many women. Although they have distinct personalities, each has their own lovable qualities, and their origins are relatively extraordinary, they are really suspected of being a harem. It's not a bad thing, it's just a pass. The scene where Lin Shu and her sister Lin Guan (I don't know the pronunciation of that word) caressing the mark on their chests and missing each other is really touching. Since there were more women later, the emotional impact on the readers was diluted, and the subsequent emotions seemed sentimental no matter how they were created. The dialogue between the characters in the book is a masterpiece, and is a strong proof that the author has an extremely sophisticated grasp of human nature. It gives the impression that this person has such words, but it would be inappropriate for another person. I can definitely say that based on this alone, I can beat the "great gods" in the starting point by a few blocks. Finally, let me talk about what I am dissatisfied with, which is that the protagonist's upgrade progress is too fast. It only took a few years for Lin Shu to go from being an idiot to being able to fight against the top arcanists of Green Star. Not to mention the illogical nature, the structure of the entire story was built on the sand of illusion. The rigor of the details and the illusoryness of the large structure form an overly sharp contradiction.
