Longxingjiusei

This book takes the turbulent years of the late Ming and early Qing dynasties as the historical background, Shanxi as the main scope of activities, and the Qing army's massacre of Datong as the main historical event. It describes the heroes represented by Ji Longfeng in the Three Jin Dynasties who fought against the forces of the Qing court for the country and the people, as well as their repeated battles with the evil forces of the rivers and lakes. Many heroes represented by Ji Longfeng and the evil forces represented by Chu Heng launched many desperate battles, and many young people also grew into chivalrous heroes in the battles. The plot of the book is full of twists and turns, with ups and downs. It describes various martial arts schools, especially the formation of Xinyi Liuhe Quan. For the martial arts competition, the fantasy style of writing in many works has been changed and a more realistic description has been adopted to make it real and believable. Another feature of this book is that it uses the scenic spots and historic sites in Shanxi and the surrounding areas as the key points of the story, connects them with the whereabouts of the characters in the book, and introduces many great rivers and mountains, cultural monuments and some local specialty snacks, as well as little-known legends and stories. It reads like a travel note, making people linger in the mountains and rivers and savor the local delicacies. The book is also interspersed with a large number of the author's original poems, giving the work a rich literary flavor. This is another highlight of the book.
