A Lord's Tale

In his previous life, he was an orphan struggling at the bottom of society. After barely making it through college, he found himself living a miserable life, and eventually drowned while trying to save a child from the water. As he lay dying, he once again witnessed both the coldness and the warmth of humanity. After transmigrating, he inhabits the body of Lu Yougui, a down-and-out nobleman of just fourteen. Disillusionment with human nature, longing for a mother's love, and complicated feelings of love and resentment toward his father leave him deeply depressed. But the simple, loyal people of his territory rekindle his passion for life.
