I have been reading this book for 7.8 Years. I heard that it was written by the author after he played a game. When I read it, I couldn't find it in the starting point. It was very good. I just saw this book and was going to read it again. I don't know if it is an unabridged version. Many books and movies have too many deleted parts and are far less beautiful than when they first came out.
