It might not be the first farming novel, but it should be one of the first batch of better ones! There are quite a few flaws in the details, and there are some errors in common sense. For example, wasps do not produce honey, and the fact that honey can be taken out of a hornet's nest is misleading in the cartoon. It is also a genius to put so many snakehead fish in the fish pond for polyculture. The snakehead fish is an extremely ferocious predatory fish. A few fish in a fish pond can eat up all other fish.
