Qinghua is an ordinary woman born in the early 1960s, raised in an ordinary rural extended family shaped by the great changes of the era. Material comforts were scarce, but love overflowed. By a twist of fate, she journeyed for love to a small town that shared her name, only to eventually leave it, and her unforgettable true love, with a heavy heart. Through decades of hardship and change, she experienced love and hate, joy and sorrow, yet never doubted the power of love or stopped searching for it. Her deepest love lives on through her daughter, Lin Lin. Those who know how to love will find happiness in the end. Times change, but love remains eternal: family, friendship, and romance. I write because I have always believed in this and wanted to express its mysteries. A friend once said, “The purpose of words is never to push people into an abyss, but to cherish true feelings and find hope anew.” Thank you to my mother.
