The Heavens Ablaze with Time

The ages surge onward without end, and heaven and earth follow their own laws.

A child born beneath the descent of the Ziwei Star, with a golden dragon entering the mortal world, should have been an auspicious sign heralding a golden age. Instead, the Heavenly Dao intervened in person, seeking to snuff out this fate that carried too much weight. The emperor used the fortune of his entire realm as a shield, risking his life to protect the infant in its swaddling clothes and force open a slender path to survival. The price was too terrible to describe.

Years passed. In the bamboo grove of an old homeland, rain fell in a steady patter.

A white-haired figure dressed in black stood with a flute, bearing the source of time and hunted relentlessly. Brothers of old had turned against each other, and trust had become an illusion. When the source erupted, all things burned to ash. A forbidden zone was reborn, and forces from every quarter converged. Thus began a conflict that would engulf all the heavens.

The river of time rolls ever onward, and the threads of fate have long since entwined two distant pasts.

What is destiny? What is the Heavenly Dao?

Crossing the ashes of time, he will at last find the answer that belongs to him.
