Dark Pool

Synopsis of Dark Pool

[Two formidable leads · Intellectual romance · Everyone is purple · A battlefield of corporate intrigue]

Everyone at the company knows that Liang Yu, CEO of Yuanting Capital, is an emotionless female tyrant.

But no one knows that last night in the entryway, someone pinned her hard against the wall until even her sobs changed pitch.

That man is Zhou Xingyun, a risk-control expert from Bank of China.

By day, he calmly pushes up his glasses and studies the market with a cool gaze. By night, he tears through the queen's defenses and takes absolute control, a predator in his element.

When Bank of China, Morgan Stanley, and Gaocheng join forces to besiege him, Zhou Xingyun turns around and uses 80 million to pry open a 40 percent profit margin in the lower-tier market, grinding the three giants' faces into the dirt.

When the queen crowns him at an all-hands meeting, he slips away early from a corner.

"Hundreds of people watching me? Who would volunteer for that public execution?"

This story has not only the most intense corporate power plays, but also the fiercest, most unhinged push and pull.

Besides this explosive pairing of a scheming strategist and an arrogant queen, there are also:

Tang Changzhi, a disruptor in the primary market who masks his razor-sharp instincts with a flippant attitude;

and Li Xinying, a cold-faced modeling expert who can calculate even Bank of China's underwear but can't be bothered to say a single unnecessary word.

Four highly intelligent NTs (purple people), two couples who love and fight each other, calculating and supporting one another in the dark pool of capital.

"Some lines, if you get the timing right, can be crossed the same way today as they were compromised last night."

"The 40 percent profit is the empire I built for you, and you are the interest I collect."
