I Take Cultivation Seriously

Zhao Fengqi, a laid-back shopkeeper who was given a corner print shop by his wealthy family, only wants to lie flat and coast through life. By chance, he sets out on the path of cultivating immortality through talismans.

Gu Shi, a cultivator with an exceptionally gifted spiritual root, must cultivate in the mortal world for five hundred years before he can return to his sect. His spiritual energy often goes out of control, so he works at the little shop to maintain his identity in the human world.

One only wants to lie flat. The other is serious about cultivating immortality.

There are no earth-shattering battles between immortal sects, just a peaceful modern cultivation life where everyone is a little bit crazy.

Gu Shi: I'm seriously cultivating (and making money).

Zhao Fengqi: Hold on, are we going to slay demons again?
