I Am a Great Physician

Wang Jianjun is an utterly ordinary high school student (in terms of build) and a renowned top student at Hongde No. 1 High School. He had planned to study journalism and media at university, follow in his father's footsteps, and work in journalism after graduating. But just before the crucial exam, he fell ill and was hospitalized. After receiving treatment from his father's friend, Wang Wenyun, he gradually recovered. One night, while dreaming, his soul traveled back to the Eastern Han dynasty, where he became a physician renowned alongside the famous doctor Zhang Zhongjing. Zhang Zhongjing carefully taught him the Treatise on Cold Damage and Miscellaneous Diseases, explained the principles of diagnosis and treatment, and guided him on the path to becoming a renowned physician of his age. Wang Jianjun then studied systematically under Zhang Zhongjing, greatly improving his medical skills and writing the immortal work Heartfelt Teachings on the Pulse Methods of Cold Damage. After completing his studies with Zhang Zhongjing, Wang Jianjun went on to study pharmacology under Sun Simiao, and warm diseases under Wu Youke, Wu Jutong, and others. He became a renowned physician of his age. When Wang Jianjun awoke from his dream, he declared that he wanted to study medicine, only to be met with his father's opposition. Even after a conflict between his family and school, he stayed true to his convictions and successfully enrolled in a university of traditional Chinese medicine to study Chinese medicine. After completing a full course of theoretical and practical studies, he truly became a renowned physician of his age.
