I Tread Life and Death to Seal Ten Thousand Grudges

Only those who truly face death and escape the Grim Reaper's grasp against all odds can glimpse the Spirit Realm.

It is a world that is death itself, an in-between realm born when the boundary between life and death was torn apart.

Those who enter the Spirit Realm can steal fragments of the Grim Reaper's authority and break free of the cycle ordained for mortals.

But those who steal from death are forever punished by it.

Such authority is no gift. It is an undying curse that clings to you for all eternity.

Those who defy fate drift beyond life and death. They can neither return to the earth nor find peace among the living. From then on, death's servants hunt them for eternity, and they must repay the sin of stealing fate's mandate in an endless darkness.

Yi Ji had been trapped for years in a recurring nightmare of death.

When the nightmare's walls broke and the Spirit Realm reopened, the hunt began as expected.

The sealed past, the interrupted deaths, and the hidden authority of the Grim Reaper all began to awaken.

He was the one who escaped the Grim Reaper, an aberration who stole the rules of life and death.

All living things are born to die.

But he steals from death and walks on, never to return.
