Chinese Entertainment, 2004: Upgrade My Traits and Become a Best Actor!

Zhao Yu, who has spent more than a decade navigating the business world, is reborn in 2004.

That year, the Four Dan and Two Bing actresses are at the height of their fame.

That year, a new generation of post-80s stars begins to emerge.

That year, mainland Chinese film and television is about to enter its golden age of fierce competition among the best.

After being reborn, Zhao Yu gains the ability to draw traits as long as he works hard on set.

[Dedicated Practice]: Improves learning efficiency and boosts focus!

[Martial Arts Master]: Fists, palms, fingers, claws, legs, swords, spears, halberds, and staves: he masters every weapon and forges his own path in martial arts!

[Silver Tongue]: Increases persuasiveness and tongue dexterity!

[Bright-Eyed Charm] [Nuclear-Powered Donkey] [Suit-Wearing Bruiser] [Sword Immortal Descends to the Mortal Realm]...

In just a few short years, Zhao Yu goes from being a student at the Shanghai Theatre Academy and an extra in Hengdian to a business magnate whose every move shakes the industry.

When a reporter asks him a question, Zhao Yu falls silent for a moment, then says:

"Honestly, at first I just didn't want to go home and work as a kitchen assistant. I wanted to make money and prove myself, and maybe work hard enough to win a Best Actor award. If I told you I really have no interest in becoming a business magnate, would you believe me?"
