The Rose Curse of Lokovia

[Epic Western Fantasy + Mutual Redemption + A Curse Spanning Millennia + The Origins of Magic + Fated Love]

(This story is a slow burn, unfolding step by step, with many clues and foreshadowing.)

Story summary: More than two hundred years ago, the Northern Kingdom fell in a single night, and an eternal winter gradually swallowed its entire land.

Legend says there is no true daylight there. The fallen kingdom remains entombed in ice and snow, and its last prince is still alive to this day.

In search of her missing father, Xi (Sea), a young woman from the Midu Empire, ventures into this forbidden land, shunned by all.

There, she meets Chen (Chil).

A boy forever trapped at eighteen, a prince under a curse who must fight monsters every night.

He cannot leave or grow old. Some force even prevents him from ending his own life.

Until Xi falls in love with him.

But she does not know that this love is not the curse's salvation. It may be the beginning of his destruction.

Deep within the royal city, a rose that has bloomed for a thousand years is quietly awakening. She possesses almost unimaginable magic, and knows the secret buried by history.

**Why did the kingdom fall in a single night? Why does the curse grow more cruel through love? Who is the rose waiting for?**

When the girl finally approaches the rose, Chen realizes that the secret he has guarded so desperately for more than two hundred years may no longer remain hidden.

And all of this is merely the prelude to Lokovia's long tragedy.
