Cinders of the Azure Sky: The Pang Clan Returns to Dust

This story brings together the complete Bao Qingtian universe starring Jin Chaoqun, including all 41 story arcs from the 1993 Bao Qingtian, the 2008 New Bao Qingtian, 2010 Seven Heroes and Five Gallants, 2011 A Heart of Loyalty, and 2012 Kaifeng Case Files. All canonical storylines are included. The [Beheading Pang Yu] arc has been permanently removed. Pang Yu does not meet his original canonical punishment; instead, his life takes a new course. The timeline follows all the original cases without altering the main plots of the major investigations.

Continuing the 1993 series' solemn, austere style, its restrained political intrigue, and its intertwining of good and evil, the story runs three threads in parallel: court rivalries, chivalry in the martial world, and investigations into wrongful convictions. Everyone is biased in the protagonist's favor. There are no melodramatic entanglements and no romance, only an irresistibly cool and distant heartthrob whom everyone at court and in the martial world admires, using wit and political strategy to protect the world.

The story follows every case, arc by arc and episode by episode, across all five Bao Qingtian series. Pang Yu enters every storyline as an outsider, a game-changer, and a counterweight, rewriting his own fate and those around him while reshaping the court and martial world of the Song Dynasty. The story maintains its no-couple, one-sided admiration setup throughout.
