The Occult Exorcist

What lies hidden in superstition is never just a seed of truth. It is a boulder, heavy enough to crush the entire world.

Now it is about to roll!

The magic and arcane arts that once flourished in the world have long been forgotten. Mystical power has become a scarce resource, firmly controlled by the few who possess ancient legacies.

In the eyes of the public, magic is nothing but superstition, supernatural beings are merely legends, and the mysterious organizations that once secretly shaped the world are nothing more than inventions of conspiracy theories.

Samuel is an anomaly in this age.

The last heir of an ancient family of witches, he comes from ancestors who made bargains with indescribable beings and were famed throughout the land.

But now the family has fallen into decline. He can only make a living as an exorcist, spending his days dealing with trivial complaints like strange noises in the floorboards and drafts in the house, muddling through life.

Then, one day, magic, dormant for ages, begins to awaken.

Mystical creatures return to the world. A spirit board really does summon a demon, and even a university Halloween haunted-house party turns into a genuine horror show.

Amid the chaos sweeping across the world, Samuel sees a perfect opportunity to restore his family’s fortunes.

Yet awakening alongside magic is a shocking conspiracy stretching back to antiquity, as well as the war that once tore the entire magical world apart.

And the one who ended that war was Samuel’s ancestor!
